An Airstream trailer conference room? A fabric covered “thought bubble” meeting room? These were just a few of the components in a newly-designed creative office space for WPP in Dearborn, MI. One of the world’s largest communications services groups, WPP employs 98,000 people in over 2,000 offices in 106 countries. In 2006,WPP reported annual billings of around US$55 billion. Lenovo In 2007, Xibitz helped Gensler Architects integrate the Lenovo brand into the company’s Morrisville, N.C. business center. From bamboo to boulders, the center features a unique selection of materials working in concert with custom, showcase-quality craftsmanship. Lenovo is an innovative, international technology company formed by the acquisition of IBM’s Personal Computing Division. In 2006, Lenovo reported revenues of HK$103 billion. Caterpillar In Fall 2007, Xibitz completed an extensive graphic rollout for Caterpillar’s Global Mining World Headquarters in Peoria, Ill. A project highlight was the mine-like entrance Xibitz helped create, featuring faux rock formations and matching window graphics. With 2006 sales and revenues of US$41 billion, Caterpillar is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines. Johnson & Johnson In 2007, Xibitz announced a new corporate branding project for Johnson & Johnson’s headquarters. Together, Johnson & Johnson and its operating companies are the world’s most comprehensive manufacturer of health care products. They are also a globally-recognized provider of related health care services for the consumer, pharmaceutical and medical device markets. Waltrip Racing Racers, start your engines! In May 2007, Xibitz completed the Waltrip Raceworld brand experience project in Cornelius, N.C. This “living museum” features interactive kiosks, driver displays, a retail store...even an elevated walkway that provides visitors with an inside look on how a race team operates. Michael Waltrip Racing, originally formed in 1995, is a NASCAR team owned and operated by two-time Daytona 500 winner, Michael Waltrip. University of Florida In partnership with Downstream, Xibitz proudly helped turn the University of Florida basketball complex into a powerhouse recruiting tool. Xibitz’ execution of this dynamic and inspirational space is seen throughout the facility’s atrium and lobby, coaches’ offices, practice gym, locker room and beyond. The experience conveys to present and future student athletes an overarching commitment to the University’s premier basketball program. |
