VSP was founded in 1955 with a vision of providing access to high-quality, cost-effective eye care to the world. More than 60 years later, that vision has evolved into providing world-class products and services to eye care professionals, employers, and more than 88 million members worldwide.
For the first two brick-and-mortar stores with designer Perkins+Will, they turned to Xibitz to take the raw concepts and develop them into a buildable product. The retail spaces are designed to have an unobstructed view from front to back, with alcoves for product interaction. Maple, white laminate, and aluminum combine to keep a fresh, approachable, and sleek aesthetic. Displays are created to easily update for seasonal changes and new marketing initiatives, and made from VSP’s actual packaging to maintain a consistent brand experience.
