It’s a global leader that has been changing the way we live, work and get from place to place for more than 125 years. So creating a visual representation of Johnson Controls’ history of innovation – in a building complex destined for greatness of its own – was no small task. To renovate and expand its office complex into a high-performance campus that would demonstrate the company’s environmental leadership and innovative sustainable technologies, Johnson Controls turned to Gensler architects, designers and planners. And Gensler turned to Xibitz for design support and museum-quality work.
Xibitz integrated key corporate messages into walls and produced graphics and lobby displays for conveying this Fortune 100 client’s legacy. Streamlined glass-encased product displays, back-lit graphic ceiling panels and a striking 250-postcard “sculpture” are at home in an experiential space that has earned LEED® Platinum certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. (The Glendale campus represents the largest concentration of LEED Platinum buildings ever awarded on one site.)
