Account Executive

Job Title: Account Executive

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Position Description:

Xibitz is currently searching for an Account Executive. As an Account Executive/New Business Development you will perform interact and nurture potential and existing business. The Account Executive is a vital position at Xibitz; your ability to represent Xibitz and yourself is imperative to Xibitz welfare and growth.  Xibitz wants to develop and sustain relationships with clients that are collaborative, effective and lasing. Your primary focus will be to develop and sustain profitable business in the area of permanent interior planning spaces in our core markets.  Your efforts will be supported by management, but the majority of effort needed in realizing your plan’s success will be your responsibility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but not Limited to:

  • A comprehensive approach to strategic planning, sales forecasting, general reporting, new business development, account & client management, account development, relationship development, and project organization.
  • Developing business-to-business relationships that strategically fit Xibitz business goals.
  • Work and interact successfully with customers, potential customers, sales peers, and Xibitz employees.
  • Work closely and cohesively with the management team.
  • Participation in “Risk Management” – Reducing our financial risk when working with customer/projects is necessary:
    • 1) Documented communication and clarity is essential and expected.
    • 2) Adhering to procedures, providing detailed information, contract management, providing change orders, collection management.
  • Market focus is in the following categories:
    • 1) Turnkey opportunities in the areas of Planning, Design, Production, Installation.
    • 2) Other opportunities as qualified in Xibitz (4) core markets ­– Corporate, Museum, Healthcare, and High Education.
  • Develop and implement prospecting strategies.
  • Generate business interest through targeted cold calling and other strategic methodology.
  • Execution of written and verbal presentations.
  • Professional conduct; positive attitude, focus on quality, make decisions based on clear objectives, and resolve conflicting opinions and goals through dialog.
  • Presentation is essential in all areas of your work, appearance, and attire; you will need to adhere to the Xibitz dress policy.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • You need to be committed, aggressive, strategic, team-oriented, organized, a good listener and persistent in your approach.
  • Focus your goals and strategies towards developing a business model that will generate consistent monthly commissionable revenues – year after year. Your plan should outline how you will achieve and sustain this.
  • Team selling is highly recommended and necessary.
  • Excel, Word and Outlook proficiency required.
  • Strong attention to detail essential.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.

Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Position Description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day successful management and leadership of assigned projects. The role and responsibilities will be comprehensive and diverse. This position requires a dedicated, results-driven, proactive and organized professional with an excellent sense of urgency while maintaining diplomacy, direction and focus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but not Limited to:

  • Project Management experience required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex and multiple projects ESSENTIAL.
  • Industry experience in custom exhibits, corporate showrooms or museum displays highly preferred.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Project Management or related degree highly preferred.
  • Must be able to interact with account executives, customers, and external & internal project teams.
  • Able to provide leadership, direction, and unity in regard to your assigned projects and team members.
  • Able to generate project specific schedules for assigned projects and project action lists for assigned projects.
  • Able to provide support in project budgeting, project estimating, estimating reviews, project engineering, and production techniques and project scheduling.
  • Responsible for proper project closeout including all invoicing prepared, all documentation organized and in the proper location, all shop drawings in place and project is 100% ready for invoicing.
  • Complete a daily time sheet for the appropriate jobs worked on.
  • Able to engage in and embrace a working project flow process system.
  • Able to work closely with the lead craftsman assigned to your projects and with the supervisory team in the organization.
  • Able to present and drive strategy and ensure implementation of a decided upon strategy.
  • Able to audit and maintain project success and financial benchmarks.
  • Support the AE’s by heightening project management performance and knowledge in the successful execution of their projects.
  • Able to provide recommendations on processes and procedures needed for continued refinement.
  • Able to review job cost and estimating information needed to maintain the Big Picture overview.
  • Able to compare the company’s profit margin against the required profit benchmarks.
  • Able to participate in Risk Management.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • MS Project, Excel, Word and Outlook proficiency required.
  • Documented, excellent communication and clarity is essential and expected.
  • Strong attention to detail essential.
  • This is a direct and full-time position with salary and benefits.
  • Must have current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
